About the Recipe
A delicious sausage roll with a mushroom twist, great if you need to add mushrooms into your diet (or your kids!)

Ingredients
§ Large Punnet of Fresh Mixed Mushrooms from Manly Mushrooms.
§ 500g beef mince
§ 4 Puff Pastry sheets (or 5 if you got that 5 pack…no point in leaving one in the freezer when you’ll never get to it)
§ 2 Eggs
§ 4 cloves of crushed Garlic
§ 1 Onion finely chopped
§ 1 Carrot finely chopped
§ ¼ Cup Frozen Peas/vegies (why bloody not)
§ 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
§ 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
§ 1/4 cup of Fresh Parsley (yes, dried is good enough)
§ Salt, Pepper & Chilli Flakes to Taste
§ A can-do attitude and sauce of choice
Preparation
Step 1 Pre-heat fan-forced oven 180°c. Thaw out puff pasty
Step 2Â Finely dice mixed mushrooms. Solid choice
Step 3Â In a mixing bowl add Mushrooms and all other ingredients (except sheets lol)
Step 4 Mix ‘em up. I use a fork or whatever tool I should recommend
Step 5Â Cut pastry sheets in half long ways
Step 6 Evenly divide mixture into sheets in the middle…long ways like a sausage we will roll
Step 7 Roll the sausage up. Brush with egg if you need help sealing… I don’t bother
Step 8Â Cut sausage rolls into desire length or leave as is for a real long one
Step 9Â In oven. 35mins or until crispy AF
